Some of you may know this but I’m a not-so-secret plant lady. Like most plant people, I have a long list of “unicorn” plants that I’m dreaming of adding to my collection. Because most of them are so hard to get a hold of (and I’m an impatient artist), I decided it might be fun (and satisfying) to paint some of my dream plants because I’m not totally sure when I will be lucky enough to own the real thing!

Alocasia Baginda ‘Dragon Scale,’ a native to Asia could be my favorite alocasia. Its big beautiful leaves almost look airbrushed and unnatural! This plant is right at the top of my wish list for sure!
